Lock of the year in college football

Florida -10.5

Florida will beat Missouri by at least double that number.

I like Mizzou's chances against Florida. They almost beat Auburn and they almost beat Georgia. Florida isn't a great football team.

Re: Lock of the year in college football

My betting tips is never bet on the Rebels and never bet against them!!!

For this week I like KY - 6 over SC.  The line opened at KY -12.5 . . . but you just never know about any game.  KY has a good team and is playing at home.  Last week they kept Ole Miss in check and almost beat them.  SC is generally overrated and they always seem to be a propped up team.

I like that -6 Kentucky bet.  I don't think SC is very good and Ky is going to be looking to beat the snot out of SC to move back up in the rankings.

Anyone think Ole Miss covers the spread this weekend against Vandy?  I'm not taking that bet either direction.  Just curious what everyone thinks about the game.

We should handle Vandy easily.

Nobody can overcome the heartbreak Missouri has had over the last two games and then go on the road and play worth a darn.  They might have a quarter in them but that is it.  In any other situation, Missouri might beat Florida but it won’t be this weekend.  Florida will win this one by 4+ TDs.

Vanderbilt usually plays one of their best games of the season against Ole Miss and Vanderbilt is the home team.  The Commodores circle the Ole Miss game each year and feel it is one they can win.  The Rebels often have big injuries against Vanderbilt. In most games in the past, Vanderbilt has played Ole Miss close for the games in Nashville.  Next week Ole Miss plays Auburn, and hopefully, the Rebels won't look past the Commodores.  Ole Miss should win, but will probably not cover the 17 point spread.  As seen in most of the past games, Ole Miss should start out fast and get a lead only to have Vanderbilt chisel into the lead and make the game closer.

Yes, at times, Vandy has played up to us and we have played down to them but that hasn't been the case under Kiffin.

In 2020 - we beat Vandy in Nashville 54-21
In 2021 - we beat Vandy 31-17

Also, a lot of those years, we got Vanderbilt super early in the season when they were very healthy.

I think we win easily.

Florida did not cover. Hopefully you didn't lose too much money.

One thing I learned as a young man that thought because I was a sports junkie and player then coach.  There is no such thing as a sure thing.
