The students clearing out at half every damn game is frustrating. Give tickets away to local schools, sell them at a discount. The only section of the stadium that automatically drops to 10% capacity every half is the student section.
I also hope Keith and the city work on making it to the stadium easier. It's such a big pain to even get to the stadium. I remember when I used to be able to just park in that south lot in the early 2000's. Now it's paying to park in the city, and having to wait on a bus to take to get on campus, and then taking another shuttle to the stadium.

It was a lot easier when you could park on the sidewalk on Jackson Avenue. But the city of Oxford put a stop to that because of ADA problems, that’s not something you can blame Ole Miss for. I’m not saying you’re placing blame but I have seen people do it - As far as the student section goes one of the dumbest things Ole Miss has done in recent years was move them from the south end zone

Ole Miss game day has turned more into a money grab and everyone wants their piece of the pie. While at school I had a paper route and knew all the streets in Oxford. There was a way to come in from Holly Springs, take a few out-of-the-way streets through neighborhoods and end up across from the girls' dorm and some of the faculty housing. There was always plenty of parking in the girls' dorm and it was a short walk to the Grove and Circle. It has been years since I took that route or have driven around Oxford, but either the route does not exist anymore or it is clogged with traffic.

I was there on Saturday and parked for free with a 15 minute walk to the Grove. There's no reason for the students not to fill up the section. At most, it wasn't even half full. They blame the heat, but I guarantee that they could give them a permanent shade and they would still not attend or stay for the game.
