Rebels vs. Tulsa

Ole Miss needs to get the sleep out of their eyes.  The DBs are leaving the Tulsa receives wide open.  Tulsa is not a team to overlook.

Re: Rebels vs. Tulsa

Just a little overconfidence by OM

You rolled GA Tech and then take a 7-0 lead 2 minutes in.

Fell asleep, Lane ralled them. Now 21-0 since with 5 minutes left in the half.

Re: Rebels vs. Tulsa

Past teams would have probably just laid down and given up.  Its good to have a coach like Lane and his staff who can rally the troops.

Re: Rebels vs. Tulsa

Well, it's not looking good.  The offense has sputtered in the second half and the defense had been mediocre.  It looks like the game will be on the defense's shoulders.

Re: Rebels vs. Tulsa

Ole Miss had to fight to beat Tulsa.  Next week will be very trying against Kentucky.  Kentucky has a good team and this will be a must-win for the Rebels.

Re: Rebels vs. Tulsa

Classic come off a high of shutting out a Power 5 team on the road.

You overlook they next little guy looking forward to a top 10 opponent

Happens every weekend.

I wouldnt get to worried about it.

Hard to turn it on and off. Like I said earlier, OM scored those 21 straight to close the half. So their mindset went back to like it was before the game started. Thought these guys sucked. Tulsa came to play. Give them that.

But once you lose the mojo again at halftime, can’t get it back.  Lane can’t even get them back at that point.

It also has something to do with a younger team and a bunch of guys who haven’t played together seeing what everyone else has got.

Its a learning experience.  I doubt very seriously you see them come out next week like they did today.

Got the W and moved on.

Re: Rebels vs. Tulsa

Not that it matters a whole lot but UGA didn’t blow out Kent State like many (myself included) assumed they would
