    Beating the Drum

    for this guy.   We need Chad Morris.  SMU is bowl eligible for the first time in six years.

    I don't have anything against him, but has he beat anyone with a winning record this year?  The next 3 games (UCF, Navy, Memphis) will reveal more.

    Arkansas has a losing record and we couldn't beat them, even after having a 31-7 lead and the football!

    Your statement is true, but does this not seem typical of most Ole Miss football teams?  In recent years, Ole Miss has recruited well and has some talent on the team.  The problem is the HC and the coaching staff.  Is there a quality coach in the bunch?

    There is a root cause for this.....an administration that can't shoot straight.  The only thing these duffusses can seem to hit is their own foot.

    Hard pass on Morris.  If he were all he was supposed to be why is he still at SMU?  
    He was at Clemson for awhile before anyone offered him a HC job and then it was SMU.  
    He wanted to come to Ole Miss when Jevan Snead was here.  Not sure why we never offered him then but me thinks there was good reason and the lack of any big time programs coming calling is very telling to me. 

    Matt Campbell will decide how much he wants to make at his next gig.  He will have plenty of suitors and I hope we are already in discussions with him.  
    Norvell would be my next choice.
