Re: 4 star CB Braxton Myers - Rebs flipped him from USC?

This is good news for Ole Miss but in today's world of college NIL and transfer, who's to say how long any players stay at a school?  Players will opt for the biggest payout and if they don't get the playing time they think they deserve, then they will just transfer.  Kiffin seems to have a good handle on the situation and can hopefully keep everyone happy.  The big concern is with NIL.  If there is not a cap put on NIL, then the big money schools will get the top players and end up dominating the game and playoffs.

There really needs to be a cap on NIL. You know, whenever the whole NIL started up, everyone saw it coming - kids would ultimate get paid, not based on their performance, but to get their commitment. And that is exactly what is happening - they are being bought and paid for. Schools with big donors are going to become unstoppable and smaller schools will be left way behind.

So what do you do in this scenario?  A big donor decides he wants a few players to come to a particular school.  He chose them because of hype, media, and what he read on the internet.  In actuality the coach of the school did not consider them to be viable candidates for his roster.  Now the big money donor is forcing players on the coach.  So what happens in that situation?  Will the big money donors start running the program?
