Based loaded, no outs, down by two, and we manage only one run. Guys were taking horrible swings all day yesterday. Alderman continues to grow at the plate and was the only one that looked comfortable in the box. Offense better come ready to play today.

I know the has been a love fest for Bianco the last month but some of his decisions on pinch hitting, etc. bewilder me.  Harris has been pretty dang got at the plate when he plays.  Van Cleave was 31-5 against left-handed pitchers.  When they brought in a left hand pitcher, Bianco should have countered.  Leatherwood was another questionable choice.  Dunhurst couldn't hit off of a tee.  Taking horrible swings is an understatement.  If we had shone better discipline, they would have walked about 6 batters.  Aqain, I most likely wouldn't have done any better but I'm not on scholarship to play, either.

Van Cleave looked horrendous. Struck out without even taking a full swing. Totally wasted opportunity. McCants has also been struggling really bad, and couldn't understand him getting inserted to pinch hit. Dunhurst has certainly looked bad lately at the plate as well. I'm not sure what's going on with him. I've noticed when he swings, he seems to be falling back and not trying to drive into the ball.
