Need to start trying to just poke that slider to opposite field. Especially our lefties.

It's a tough night for Rebel fans. Tomorrow will tell the true tale of this team. The hogs came to play tonight. The Rebels are getting back into automatic mode where they think they will automatically win.

A huge difference in this game is that their SS kept Bench’s ground ball in the infield so the runner didn’t score from second. Our ss didn’t keep it in the infield and the runner scored from second.
Of course, he was out clear as day at second before that hit. And he may have scored later that inning anyway. But it’s these little things that have always cost us under Bianco.

In the first part of the game, the Rebels were sleepwalking, going through the motions, and making some mistakes. In the end, the mistakes and inability to get a hit cost the Rebels in the end. Ole Miss had the bases loaded with no outs in the bottom of the ninth. You have to wonder why they did not bunt to move the players around and possibly score a run. Van Horn has been here and knows what to do. The Rebels better hope they jump on the hogs early in the game tomorrow or it will be the end of the season for Ole Miss baseball.

I think Tim Elko has had only 2 hits the entire CWS.
We've got one more shot to make it to the finals, but if history is any indicator, we'll be watching Arkansas play Oklahoma.

Swinging for the fence in that park = you lose.
