SEC Tournament
Ole Miss takes on Vandy at 4:30 today. The game will be aired on the SEC Network. Winner gets Tennessee. Would actually be nice to get another shot against them if we can beat Vandy.

Whatever the outcome of the game, it seems like another season has been squandered. Rebel fans can only hope that Bianco will be gone after this year so the team can get a fresh start. This could mean a couple of years of rebuilding, but it could not be any worse than the past few years with Bianco.

And, of course, there's a weather delay this morning. So, no telling when our game will start.
On another note, why the hell can't we get the tournament out of Hoover? Seems the argument is all about people with RV's - but screw those folks. They can go camping in their RV and a baseball tournament shouldn't just cater to folks with RV's.

It's the Bama / Birmingham connection that keeps the tournament from moving from Hoover. The tournament should be rotated around the SEC to make it fair for all fans to be able to travel to the tournament. Alabama and Auburn fans have the games in their backyard, while Arkansas, TAMU, or Missouri have to make a long trek to get to Birmingham. There are enough equivalent venues in the SEC to hold this event.

But yep - Alabama, Auburn, and the SEC office (composed to Bammer and Auburn fans/alums) will NEVER allow the tournament to leave their backyard.
