Re: 4 Star OL trending to OM

It will be interesting to get a player from Tuscaloosa, AL.  You have to wonder why AL is not making a big press for him.

Re: 4 Star OL trending to OM

Open last 5 to 10 years, the ability for families to move pretty much anywhere has increased the number of kids that really don’t have an allegiance to a state school or an area school. Your family may be from the Northeast but now you live in the south so you don’t feel any obligation to stay local.

No idea about this kid but the days of local kids being a lock to the local schools in general is starting to erode I think

Re: 4 Star OL trending to OM

Bama knows if they want a player like him they can circle back at the last minute and get him. They are after 5 star guys and will most likely get 5 star guys or the highest 4 star guys.

This kids has a ton of ability and would be a great get for OM right now, hopefully if Lane stays and they program continues to grow, they can hall in some of those 5 stars also.

That's probably been the biggest negative recruiting points he's had to face. I really hope we do hang onto the guy and he's able to build something special here. I think if he's given the time, we'll be competing at an extremely high level.
