I haven't kept up with the Costa mess closely, but man, guys have dang near killed people and not have this much penalty. Hopefully it will get cleared up soon, but looks like OM/Kiffin are preparing for it not to be by the time the season starts.

This could be signs that Costa will not be back for at least another season. Players have done worse and gotten lesser penalties.

If I were Costa I would scream racism from the highest mountain. Works for everything else. Not sure of his family lineage, but he is from South Louisiana so at least I am screaming Acadian's or cajun. 
I would be beating down their doors in Indy

What happened to the kicker that was committed to OM before Costa and de committed to open a spot for Costa.
Tannehill? Local kid also..

odd move from OM to go to USM..Maybe a family connection that I dont know of, but man, living in Oxford.
Looks like he redshirted at USM last season. This was the kicker Bourgeois, Brig who was 7-12 on fgs with a long of 46 ( 3 of those fgs were in the opener against Gambling) 22-24 etra pts
Bourgeios still has 1 year left so Tannehill may be sitting this year also
One thing I noticed looking this up, Southern Miss stunk at scoring pts last year.
they open 2022 with Liberty coming to town. Freeze might score 70 on them. People are thinking because Willis left for the draft they will not score like they have. we know that isn't true just because Freeze can coach offense. also the guy taking over was a stud coming out of HS at powerhouse Cedar Hill in Texas. Signed with Tenn in the 2021 class and enrolled at Tenn in spring of 2021, didn't make it long there. went buck wild away from home and Tenn dismissed him. Transferred to Liberty and when he filled in last year for Willis was great. I know his coaches at Cedar Hill, said the kid just got lost at Tenn real quick, was great kid for them all his life they knew him and he played for them. So I don't think there will be any more off field issues with him.When he said hit the transfer portal from Tenn, tons of schools offered him.
anyway, I went on a rant on Kaidon Salter when talking about kickers from OM to USM.. Shows my brain waves..lolololol
