It's gonna be interesting to see if he stays on the DL.

Dude is 6'2" 221lbs. That seems a bit light to be playing DE.

Re: We picked up a DE from TCU today

Ole Miss picked up another big transfer commitment tonight to add to their already impressive transfer haul when TCU defensive end Khari Coleman announced his commitment to the Rebels on his personal instagram page.

In a later tweet also announcing his Ole Miss commitment, Coleman said, "I appreciate all that TCU has done for me over the past 2 years. Thank you to my coaches and teammates for all they have done to help me. With that being said, I'm heading to the SEC! Hotty Toddy I'm on my way."

Coleman entered the transfer portal last week on Tuesday with Ole Miss quickly one of the preferred possible destinations. A former three-star prospect out of New Orleans in the 2020 class, Coleman was immediately productive at TCU earning Co-Defensive Freshman of the Year honors in the Big 12 with 33 tackles and 15 tackles for loss.He followed up that season with an injury-filled 2021 campaign. Limited to only nine games and four starts last year, Coleman saw his production drop but when healthy, he is a talented edge rusher who should complement the current Rebel roster very well .

Listed at 6-2 and 221 pounds last year on the TCU roster, Coleman should remind Rebel fans of former Ole Miss defensive end Marquis Haynes who had a similar size and skill set. With Ole Miss already adding Georgia Tech Jared Ivey as a 6-6, 275-pound strong-side defensive end, Coleman should fit nicely as a weak-side end. Coleman has not yet received his transfer grade from 247Sports but he will add to an Ole Miss class that currently ranks No. 1 in the country in the transfer team rankings.

The Rebels have 12 transfers either already enrolled on campus or committed to join the program this summer. He joins his TCU running back teammate Zach Evans who committed in January and has already enrolled at Ole Miss.

Re: We picked up a DE from TCU today

Seeing that Coleman has already played in a VERY similar scheme as what OM is running under the master of the 4-2/1-5/6 in Gary Patterson, OM knows what it is getting in Coleman. Speed of the edge to pressure the QB
