My guess is that they may throw the ball 15 times in total tomorrow. What's everyone else's take on that pass count?

If they attempt double digit passes I would expect us to be leading the game by a couple of TD's. Just absolutely no other reason to explain why they would even risk it unless those passes are swing routes to the RB out of the backfield.
We may see a WR set a personal rushing record tomorrow and we may even see Allen taking snaps handing off to Kelly. You guys can laugh now. I wouldn't be surprised to see them line up with 3 TE's in an old power I and just run the ball right at us all day long. It's by far the simplest offense to learn for a new RB and especially if Kelly is under center.

The only stops we ever get on defense are when the other team throws incompletions or we get a sack. Why anyone would attempt even 1 downfield pass is beyond me.

Well....look at their coach...he comes from the BIg 10....3-yards and a cloud of dust mindset. With the size of his OL I look for run, run, run and run some more....they will wear our defense out if they do that....by the 4th quarter they could put me in to run the ball and we'd make yardage.....
I would guess less that a dozen or less throws unless for some reason we hit on some big plays and get a 2 digit lead.....

Why would they even throw a pass?

They will throw the ball for 'icing' on the cake. Sorta like salt in the wound!
