From my understanding, Lockhart will be a preferred walkon at OM for the spring. If he does well, has a chance at being put on scholarship for the fall. Love a kid that bets on himself
Is Lockhart the one that has a younger brother that is a 2024 LB prospect?

Jayson Jones Oregon ( I am not sure If I posted him before)

Oregon defensive lineman Jayson Jones entered the NCAA transfer portal this week after his freshman season for the Ducks.
The Calera, Ala., prospect had 19 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in 2021. Despite not being asked to rack up a lot in the statistical category, Jones played his best in the Pac-12 Conference, making 15 of his 19 total tackles against conference foes.
Jones was an Under Armour All-American in high school. As a senior, he was named to the 2019 All-Birmingham High School Football Team as an offensive lineman and earned honorable mention 6A all-state honors from the Alabama Sports Writers Association as a defensive lineman.
He finished his senior season with 55 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and seven sacks, earning a selection to the 2019 MS/AL All-Star Game.
Jones will pick tomorrow at 2pm CDT. Rumors are Auburn is the team to beat

I know I posted that everyone would be surprised at the class that Kiffin would put together with HS players and transfers. As I posted to start this thread, Lane had a different plan for this recruiting class and going forward. TONS have said, oh yea, just a excuse for not signing a top 10 class of HS kids. I have stuck by what I said. After seeing this transfer portal these past few days, I think OM's class will end up even better than I expected.
Unreal talent transferring.

You did call it. Lane is bringing in kids that have proven they can play at this level - he's treating this as free agency and seems to be a smart strategy thus far.

Once OM picks up the final transfers in the class, I expect them to have the #1 transfer class
