As I understand it, Lebby to OK is a done deal and he is recruiting for OK. But supposedly he's going to "take a break" and come back to Ole Miss to help coach the Sugar Bowl. I'm sorry but that may be the dumbest damn thing ever by Ole Miss, except hiring Luke. You can't work for 2 masters, especially when they have competing interests! And you damn sure don't give Lebby an opportunity to take center stage to enhance his coaching image with recruits in a NY6 bowl game. Think Lebby might be tweeting, instagramming, etc. during the game to kids that Ole Miss might be recruiting? Duh!! I'm sorry, but this is just dumb as it gets.
If you don't agree with me, that's fine, I'm not asking you to agree with me and I won't be agreeing with you. Sorry, but this one ranks as one of the all time dumbass moves ever.

I do agree with you. Lebby is not longer employed at Ole Miss, so why should he coach in the Sugar Bowl? You can be assured that if there is a recruit he wants that he has been recruiting for Ole Miss, then he will recruit them for Oklahoma. Also, the whole talk of the announcers will be about Lebby going to Oklahoma!!! Ole Miss needs to hire someone and have them work as the OC at the Sugar Bowl. Other teams have made quick hires, so why can't Ole Miss do the same???!??!!!

I do agree - Lebby shouldn't be there. Let Lane call the plays.

Exactly! The announcers will drone on and on about Lebby “leaving Ole Miss” and how great Oklahoma will be. This is stupid in so many ways.

Apparently this is an unpopular opinion but I disagree. He's not going to throw the game and this is pretty standard for big time bowl games with a coordinator change. Not having a coordinator would be more disruptive. They do more than just call plays. With Lebby in the press box, we have a better chance of winning. They won 10 games with this setup. Let's get one more then let him go.

I agree with Sooper. I think Lebby wants to help us win and winning the sugar bowl will go a long way with recruits.
As far as a recruit choosing Lebby over Kiffin, I don’t see it. And if we part in a positive manner, Lebby would not want to intentionally hurt us. So, no, I don’t see him taking recruits from us. I think it’s good for both parties.

I see where Lebby is bringing in Gabriel and Evers this weekend at Oklahoma. Wonder how many more kids Ole Miss is recruiting that Lebby will be recruiting while he “helps” coach Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl. I’ll stop before I puke.

There will be several more and then you wonder what he or the Okie staff will safe that puts Ole Miss in a negative position. The real effect will be to see if he signs players at OK who were seriously considering Ole Miss.

From the commentary I have heard, Lebby loves ole miss and this team. The general thought is that if/when kiffen moves on, lebby wants the HC job at OM. So he is making sure he leaves the bridge not only standing, but in the best shape possible
