    Looks like Oregon’s Cristobal to Miami

    Guess that means if Lane did in fact want Miami that one won’t come open again for at least a while

    Cristobal is a native of Miami I believe — I know at one time he was coach of FIU, which is in Miami

    One thing about Lane/Mario/Miami is the extension wasn't announced until after Cristobal was going to Miami. So, something tells me that Lane to Miami might have been very close if Cristobal told them "no". Miami is a coaching graveyard these days. I just don't see them ever being able to build up an elite program there again.
