Alabama had something for UGA today — thought they could win but didn’t see that coming

I predicted it. Georgia always chokes and they suck at beating Bama almost as much as we do.

I told a Bama fan friend of mine Wednesday that I don’t trust Kirby Smart in a big game like that….and sure enough

I like to see Bama and Michigan in the NC game.

Bama came to play today. I didn't think they'd be able to win, but they absolutely proved me wrong. They played with a chip in their shoulders and it paid off.
Super excited about Kiffen signing a big contract today and seeing him out on the road recruiting like he has been. Future really will be bright with him heading things up. Hoping we can keep both Lebby and Durkin. Lebby is a great balance and I think tries to keep Lane in check at times. Durkin's defense improved throughout the season and actually won some games for us. Replacing Sam at DE and Campbell at LB will be a big necessity. I actually think Maryland has another very good LB that entered the transfer portal - I wouldn't hesitate to go that route again.

I just hope that Durkin can get away from that prevent defense at the end of games. It almost cost us the Arkansas game, kept State in it, and made Vandy closer than I would have liked.

Just some thougths . . .
The Sugar Bowl would be nice, but it may hinge on both Georgia and Alabama getting into the playoffs. If both teams are not in the playoffs, then one of them may be considered for the Sugar Bowl.
If Cincinnati gets in the playoffs, it will be a true test of their team's ability to play with the big boys. With an SEC-type schedule, they would have at least 3-4 losses this season.
All SEC Teams reached 6 overall wins except Vanderbilt.
Ole Miss vs. Baylor would be a good match. This would be a potential #6 Baylor vs. a potential #8 Ole Miss, and if Ole Miss won then game, then they could move up in the rankings.
The Playoffs need to be expanded to at least 8 or 12 teams.

Ole Miss may move up a spot depending on where they rank Oklahoma State after their loss.

Georgia and Alabama both got in the playoff which is what was widely expected - should be Ole Miss and Baylor in the Sugar Bowl.
I’m glad Cincinnati got in -People can say what you will about their schedule but they did go 13-0 And earned a shot
I think the playoff is fine at 4

With both Alabama and Georgia in the playoffs, this should enhance Ole Miss' chance for the Sugar Bowl.
