Going to be the next USC coach … apparently LSU made him a really strong offer that he turned down - to go to the PAC-12.
Oklahoma is probably a good job but whoever takes it may bear the brunt of growing pains adjusting to playing in the SEC. just my opinion - for all I actually know, they may come in the league hot

I wonder if OU will make a run at Stoops at Kentucky.

Going from an established OK program to a mediocre USC? I know usc isn’t a total rebuild still seems like an odd move to me.

I agree. That is a head scratcher. I would have pegged OU as a better job than USC. I also would not move to a communist state.

That should generate some portal activity. Maybe we can snag a couple.

It's real simple, easier to get to the CFB Playoff at USC and have a shot at the Championship, than in the SEC.
like I posted on the why Kiffin would leave for Miami discussion, just a easier path than the SEC.
USC is a program like Miami that you can recruit studs within 100 miles of campus that can win a championship.
Easy decision to me I was Riley..

There is no way on God's green earth that I would take any amount of money to be in California with that tyrant government, lockdowns, and vaccine passports. F all that.
That being said, Oklahoma is a miserable landscape, which can be quite depressing, so I get that not being much of a draw.
