10-2, 2nd in the SEC West
What a year — what a team. Pretty remarkable considering the rash of injuries late in the year. Now a full month until whatever Bowl game to rest and get healthy.
Matt Corrall has really, really been a special player for Ole Miss.
Rumors are out there that Ole Miss is preparing an extension/raise for Kiffin —- upwards of $8 mill/year.
There’s some concern about recruiting but hopefully the staff can shore that up especially if that extension gets done and they can sell program stability

That 8 million will make many more millions. I'm glad we finally have an AD that recognizes that.

8 million/year - glad to see we have an AD that realizes just how important it is to lock down a coach. Hopefully it happens.

Cant complain about 10-2 but I keep wondering what if about the auburn game. We were devastated by injuries that game and left so many points on the board with the 4th downs we didn’t make.
Of course, we could have just as easily lost to Arkansas and Tennessee so I guess it works out.

To win at Auburn, with the injuries that we had, was going to require taking risks. Unfortunately, our risks didn't work out that night. If he didn't go for it on 4th, we would have been no better off. Like I said before, it was the smart thing to do going for the TD. It's easier to score two TDs than it is to get the FG and also require a TD with 2 point conversion. I don't know why this is lost on so many of our fans. It's simple math and statistics.

I’m talking about the 4th and 7 or 8 we didn’t make in the first half in particular. There was another time relatively early in game we could have made a field goal but didn’t.
