$250k is probably less than the gross on their beer sales!!! I know Rebel fans who were at the game. Some of them were in fear for their life. UT was concerned about not being able to control the crowd and quickly exited their cheerleaders, dance team, and band. This situation could have easily erupted into a full-scale riot, especially since so many people now think that riots are acceptable forms of behavior. $250k is a minimal fine for UT and they got off easy.

As expected from the SEC offices. If that were a Miss school, Vandy, South Carolina, KY, Mizzu......they would have given them the death penalty

Isn’t 250k the fine for rushing the field after a game? Should have been a 15 yard penalty at the time and significantly higher fine.
