The 2021 season for Ole Miss was a good one. Matt Corral proved to be a top-notch QB who elevated the offensive productivity. Even with multiple injuries and several positions, Ole Miss proved to be competitive. The defense immensely improved to do their part to win games.
The Rebels had an appearance in the Sugar Bowl, but even with it being a loss, the season was a historically good one. Unfortunately during the Sugar Bowl, Matt Corral went down with an ankle injury and did not return to the game. Without him, the Ole Miss offense struggled, but Luke Altemeyer showed his future potential.
Overall, the season was an unexpectedly good one for Ole Miss and fans can only hope the trend will continue.
