Hunting
My trail camera has picked up a huge boar the last couple days. So I decided to sit it there after work and see if I can pop him before deer season. Last season I killed a nice sized sow and 11 piglets. Anyways, I was sitting in my ground blind and heard some heavy steps behind me. Then I found out it was a deer when it started blowing at me (haven't set my hunting clothes outside yet so I guess it smelled me). It then did something I've never heard before - it growled and deep growl. I've heard that some bucks do that during rut, but this was the first time I've heard one go that. Kinda freaked me out! Hahaha

Yes I’ve heard it and it’s very loud. Primos and drury (mad calls) have some amazing footage of it from years past. Was the reason why new calls have both the growl, grunt and snort wheeze ability built in.
