Re: Texas and Oklahoma have officially applied for membership

Why can they just not stay in the Big 12?  Oh, wait, its all about the money!!!  It is hard to think of Texas or Oklahoma in the SEC.  They are nowhere close to the proximity of the Southeastern US.  If Texas is allowed into the conference, it will be interesting to see them try to dictate policy.

Texas will be in for a rude awakening. Only the AL schools will get special treatment.

Listening to the SEC AND beyond podcast and Chris Landry just said that after Oklahoma and Texas joins and when its all said and done, the share for each school in the SEC will go from 45 million to 78 million per school.

$33 Million pay raise will be hard to say no to.

I still have this feeling that adding Texas is going to be like marrying a woman with a lot of baggage and several failed marriages in her past. She may seem great now but what are we in store for.

OU? Yeah, come on in.
