I don't have a subscription but what I do on my phone is go to my browser settings and to the tab Clear Browser Data and and clear cookies then go back to the link and you should get 3 new articles to read. If you have another browser you can do the same to get around the pay wall. Good luck.

You can also open the link in Incognito mode in Chrome for any of those sites that uses cookies to track the number of free articles you are allowed to read each month. I'm on my phone right now, but can try to get on my laptop in a bit and copy and paste the article.

I tried to cut and paste but it wouldn't let me being a non subscriber. Looks like the CL caught onto that.

That's strange - it works for me doing that each time. If you right click on the link and open in Incognito mode, it won't let ya read it?

Cooper Manning discusses Arch Manning's upcoming Ole Miss football visit, Oxford connections

THIBODAUX, La. — The race to continue the family legacy will begin before the end of the month.

Arch Manning, the No. 1 quarterback recruit in the Class of 2023, will take a visit to Ole Miss before the next recruiting dead period begins on Aug. 1, his father Cooper Manning told the Clarion Ledger.

Arch Manning is the grandson of former Ole Miss quarterback Archie Manning and the nephew of former Ole Miss quarterback Eli Manning, both of whom have their numbers retired at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. He is a junior at Isidore Newman in New Orleans.

"He is going to go to Ole Miss," Cooper Manning said Friday at the Manning Passing Academy. "We're going to be up in Mississippi and we're going to pop over there. We haven't gotten to know (Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin) or (offensive coordinator) Jeff Lebby and just go there as a recruit. It's one thing to go there as a teenager and run around and just be a guy. But to see it and hear the pitch."

Archie Manning talks with media during the Manning Passing Academy news conference held at John L. Guidry Stadium at Nicholls on July 16.

Like his dad and youngest brother, Cooper Manning went to Ole Miss. Archie Manning was Ole Miss' quarterback from 1968-70 and Eli Manning was Ole Miss' quarterback from 2000-03. Middle brother Peyton Manning was Tennessee's quarterback from 1994-97.

Some of the other schools Arch Manning has already visited this summer include Clemson, Texas and SMU.

Cooper Manning said the quality his son is most interested in when taking recruiting visits is the ability to talk ball. He said his son's top priority is to talk to offensive coordinators and quarterbacks coaches about schemes, plays and film as opposed to talking about off-field factors.

For Cooper Manning, it's not particularly tough staying neutral when it comes to Ole Miss. He sees himself as a parent first. Following the example his parents set when his brothers were top-level recruits, Cooper Manning is letting his son's role in the journey take center stage.

"I loved Ole Miss. I went there and had a blast. It was a great place for me," Cooper Manning said. "But at the same time, you want your children to be happy and come home from school happy. Wherever it is, whatever they want to do, you just want the best for them. I'm just trying to be a good parent and a good wingman on this ride."
