Miss. State Advances to CWS Finals

The Bulldogs have gotten hot when they needed to and are advancing to the CWS finals.  Maybe this will put pressure on Bianco to win championship games.  Most likely not, though, since Mike is cruising down Easy Street and laughing all the way to the bank.

The Bulldogs will play the Vanderbilt Commodores, who stole their ticket to the finals from NC State from a controversial call by the NCAA to cancel the elimination game due to Covid protocols.  Even though some NC State players tested positive for Covid, Vanderbilt was not tested since all their players were vaccinated.  Ironically, four of the positive testers for NC State had been vaccinated.

There are indeed some who really believe that MSU winning the CWS will somehow light a fire under our Administration. Frankly, there’s a greater chance of Scarlett Johansson asking me to spend the night with her at The Peabody than MSU’s winning the CWS shaking up our Administration.

Texas ended up 1-6 vs the SEC West this year. LOL

Evidently, the administration does not care since Ole Miss is 3-16 vs. Miss. State in baseball since 2016.

I’m actually pulling for state.  I don’t think Vandy beats NC State in two games if it wasn’t for the COVID BS.  I think it was just another way to punish people who don’t want to get vaccine.

If State can force a 3rd game, I like their chances. Outside of Vandy's two ace's, they are very vulnerable.

Have to wonder how much pitching State has left.  But I'll give State credit, they man up and get it done when the pressure is on.  Wish I could say that about us.

Bednar,  their ace, should be able to start tonight.  Their closer hasn't pitched in first two games so they have the pitching to do it.  They just have a different mentality from us.  Guess it starts with the administration and transfers to the coach.

The big question is can State chase Rocker and get his pitch count up? That's gonna be very key to State being able to win against him.
