Bianco
So assuming Bianco leaves, are y'all going to be satisfied with promoting Clement or Lafferty? I can easily see us going that route. Just thinking out loud.
Bianco would have made it to Omaha last year in my opinion. He actually did a better job of closing this year than I expected.

That would be about par for us, Instead of going after a proven winner head coach, we would settle for promoting an assistant,

No I would not be happy with them. However, Bianco’s former assistants have done well. So we may stand a better chance of getting to Omaha with them than Bianco. Who knows

I could be totally wrong but I don’t see Keith Carter going that route — he hired Kiffin, hired an experienced softball coach that was a sitting head coach — I think he’ll put a lot of effort in the hire if Bianco does leave

Aside from Matt Luke and Rod Barnes, I don’t remember Ole Miss promoting an assistanta to an open HC position.
Maybe after Carol Ross “resigned?” - wasn’t her successor one of her assistants?

Matt Luke was enough. I'm saying we don't even need to consider it when we arein a position to get a really good, experienced coach. Texas A and M did. Baseball wise we are in as good or a better position than they were.

Matt Luke would probably still be at Ole Miss if it were not for Elijah Moore's dog pee stunt. He would once again say he was still rebuilding and needed another year with his recruits. It would be WAOM to take the easy way out, but most likely Bianco is at Ole Miss until he decides to leave.
