Zero errors, good pitching, sound fundamentally and excellent coaching. Pretty good at hitting to boot. Obviously that's what it takes

These skills, in addition to bunting, seem to be skills that Bianco cannot coach to his team

Don't forget teaching how to defend against small ball is equally important. We at times look pathetic in base-running skills. We don't use good judgment in when to take and extra base and when not to attempt it. Sure, there is always a gamble but we run ourselves into an out a great percentage of the time. I don't watch every game and don't know exactly how often others get dusted at the plate, but we send runners so many times and they are out by a mile.
Don't say, Well' that's just baseball. We seem determined to give away outs and runs. Does anyone have the stats on how many times this year we had bases loaded or 1st and third with one or less outs and failed to score a single run?
