If LSU doesn't come after Bianco like I think they will and with state going to the world series again , Its going to turn the heat up on Carter. One way or the other, I don't see Bianco being at Ole Miss
next year.

In 2020, Carter extended Bianco's contract to the maximum four years allowed by the State of Mississippi. This was after a phantom Covid season when there was no SEC play. In 2020 the Rebels were strong going into SEC play, but SEC play was stopped due to Covid, so no one really knows how well the Rebels would have done. Based on past years, though, the Ole Miss SEC run would have probably been between .500 and .750. Regardless, Carter gave Bianco an extension so that would mean his contract is good through 2024.
