Marcus Dupree's grandson visiting
OM today. Ja'Naylon Dupree . just transferred from his Gramps alma mater Philadelphia High School to county rival Neshoba Central for his senior year. Interesting move. PHS had a great year in 2019, but fell to 4-7 last year.
Neshoba Central does play 5A ball compared to PHS at 2A so Dupree I guess is wanting to be seen more. I still have relatives there and they say kids transfer out of PHS all the time now. Back in the 80's that would have never happened.
this little article shows several transfers to NCHS. Has a little write up on Dupree, looks like he can fly.

Oh wow, that's a name I haven't heard in a long while. 5'9" 160lbs - he's an inch shorter than Elijah Moore and just 18lbs lighter (a college weight program would take care of that). Hopefully he's happy with wherever he lands in college and doesn't have the issues his grandfather had his with his choice.
