Let's see what Ta'amu can do with the offense.

Re: I say sit Patterson....

Patterson was hurt earlier but returned -- maybe he's still smarting from whatever was wrong.

Re: I say sit Patterson....

Agree.  Patterson can't step into the throw and he's lost his mobility.  No reason to make a bad situation worse by injuring his knee further.

Re: I say sit Patterson....

I think we would have had a better chance in this game if we had left the Hawaiian in.  we actually moved the ball better.  He is more mobile, injury to Patterson or not.  Patterson continues to throw too short or too long and with less accuracy.

Re: I say sit Patterson....

I've been saying it a while. Patterson is off on his mechanics. He throws the ball so hard that it's uncatchable sometimes. Ta'amu throws a much more catchable ball even if it does float like a wounded duck. A real QB coach is needed. Patterson has the talent but he has not been coached up at all.

Re: I say sit Patterson....

I remember in the first half of the CAL game (after SP had thrown some great passes) hearing the announcers make reference to a remark Shea had made about being able to throw any pass he wants and put it on the money every time... I made a mental note of that statement then and there. Since that night, Shea has been sporadic and more off than on.
