Name to watch out for in the OL search

Garin Justice currently OL coach at Miami

He was OL coach at FAU for Lane, then went to AZ and then UNLV as co-oc/ol before going to Miami. Played OL at West Virginia and is from WVA. Was a GA at FSU under Jimbo Fisher.

Justice was a HC at a D-II school in WVA Concord at the age of 29 and went 40-17 in 5 years and won 3 conference titles.

He is 39 now and has earned his way. a guy that should be a HC at the D1 level in the next 5-6 years in my opinion. He has the resume

He knows Lane, knows the offense so it wouldn't be tough to get up to speed, and would probably love the SEC ( even though the Miami beaches are not bad

He was the only asst coach Lane kept when he took over at FAU.

He has moved 4 times in the last 6 years, that may be a factor is Lane reaches out to him.

Now I haven't talked to anyone, just purely speculation.

might have to throw in the co-oc title to get him.

Not sure what Clements was making at OM, my guess is 500K-600K since he was making 475K at FSU to come to OM.

I do not see Miami paying Justice that right now or ever.

Moving 4 times in 6 years is tough. Especially tough if you have kids.

Do the hiring schools help with the relocation costs for these coaches outside of their regular pay?

Yes, they usually pay for the moving.

Re: Name to watch out for in the OL search

Clements was scheduled to make $500k. Last year he made $487,500 after taking a $12,500 pandemic reduction.

I couldn't find any details on Justice's salary, but I do know that Miami has a very low budget when it comes to their coaching staff, so I'm sure we could easily out pay whatever he's making at Miami. If he has kids, I'm sure Oxford would be more appealing to raise them in than Miami.
