It seems like the Diamond Rebs have left thrown in the towel and are no longer being competitive.  There have been some games where the Rebels should have learned from their mistakes and gotten better, but they have just consistently gotten worse.  Even after having some big wins at the beginning of the season, the team has proven that they just cannot win the big games or series. 

Now the team has dropped from a high national rating to a mid of the pack SEC team.  A once nationally rated #1 team has dropped to #12 and after losing the series to LSU will probably dropped even more.  A hot South Carolina team comes to Oxford next week and a sweep by the Gamecocks could be a likely situation. 

Bianco has done lots for Ole Miss baseball, but it is time to move forward and get a potentially young up coming coach.  Dan McDonnell would be a great choice, but he most likely would not come to Ole Miss to fill the shoes of Bianco is he were released from his duties.  It is hard to find a good solution, but one thing that could help is a head coaching change.
