He gets paid way too much for the returns we've seen. It's time to make changes.

This is what happens when you are really good at some things and terrible at others. Especially when those elements are entwined in one task,

Bianco has done well to build the sport of baseball at Ole Miss, but he just cannot make it through the tough games. Rebel fans can only hope that Bjerk at TAMU will try to persuade Bianco to come to TAMU. Honestly I think Bianco is too comfortable in Oxford. He has what he needs. A good living environment, a big salary, and an in with the GOBs. It is time to give Mike his gold watch and hire someone who will have the Rebels more consistent and on the road to Omaha.

Program has already peaked as far as how far Bianco can take it. He needs to go. I didn't even bother watching the game today, thankfully.

Another miracle comeback! We had another inning with bases loaded and no out and didn't score a single run then managed to come back with an inning scoring 8 runs to tie it up. a lot of those with two outs. LSU helped us out by missing on a popup in the infield. Lots of folks left before the fireworks. McCants grand slam to tie it in the 8th and the walk-off dinger on the 1st pitch in the bottom of the 9th.
Lots of corndogs sitting in front of me. They asked me when all the OLe MIss fans were leaving in the 7th inning if I wasn't going to leave too. Told them I was a gltten for punishment and to cheap to leave, that I wanted my money's worth. I'll say I got it BIG time.

Did you ask those corn dogs if they had donated to the Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge, Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.

I think I'm finally at that point. I don't want to get worse but I sure want to get better. He deserves credit, though, for what he has built at Ole Miss. If you look at the state of our program prior to Bianco and compare it to now, we really have benefitted from his tenure. The best thing would really be for him to simply retire.

I agree, he has great intentions, he recruits extremely well and has really built our program up but it does seem that he has reached his apex and just can't seem to make that final step over the mountain. THe parts are there, but you have to have another mechanic to fit it together, make it run smoothly and consistent. Give him some type of a title and hire the right coach. The program sells itself, we should have any number of quality applicants.

The Univ needs to give Bianco a nice cushy job for life over in the AD's office, build a statute in his honor at the stadium, and then hire a coach that can get us to Omaha. But the Univ. will fiddle around with it and do nothing for another 10 years. That place is so poorly run.
