Don't be surprised if the Rebels get swept this weekend. This baseball season just seems like the same old Bianco roller coaster ride. Hopefully, I am wrong and the Rebels will rebound, but this scenario has been repeated many season in the past.

When it really counts, we can't buy a break and couldn't hit a mule in the ass with a boat paddle.

Didn’t watch it honestly - but I didn’t expect to win this series and wouldn’t be surprised if MSU sweeps — they are and have been just plain better in baseball than Ole Miss for a while now.

The amazing thing about them being better than us is we have had continuity at head coach while they have had multiple coaches and a coaching scandal during this time. That says something about Bianco to me.

Ole Miss has the facilities and finances to regularly be a top contender. Bianco has done well and given Ole Miss baseball notoriety, but he just cannot consistently win the big games that are needed to be a champion. The seasons are almost the same, lots of hype, early big wins, then a drop off once the SEC season begins.
Today's game against Miss. State is a must win for the Rebels. Losing today will give the series to Miss. State and also allow the Bulldogs to potentially sweep the Rebels by winning the third game on Sunday.
For the remaining schedule, LSU and TAMU could be sweeps for the Rebels. South Carolina is hot now and the Rebels will be fortunate to go 2-1 with them. Vandy has a good team and will probably win the series 1-2 or 0-3. There is no doubt that your work is cut out for you in an SEC type schedule.
Remaining Schedule:
vs LSU
vs SC
@ TAMU
vs Vandy
@ Georgia
Fans will just have to wait and see because most likely Bianco is going nowhere and will dictate his employment with Ole Miss.
