I think our resume should have gotten us into the NCAAT, but we're NIT bound.

I would much rather go to the nit with the potential to go deep than to the ncaa and get kicked early.

Louisiana Tech is a very tough draw for our first round.

No offense, but that is about the most WAOM statement ever.

Well we had a WAOM season. Beat top 15 teams in the stretch and then stain our drawers when it counted. Basketball is maddening

KJ Buffin has opted out of the NIT, and Shuler's mom had surgery so he may miss also. Could be a quick exit out of the NIT.

How do you opt out and remain on the team.?

As soon as someone opts out, their benefits as a student athlete should cease. At that time they should incur and be responsible for 100% of the financial burden that they are receiving.

KJ announced he is transferring. You can tell by some of Kermit's tweets that he is calling KJ out about it.

Not surprised by the out the come with all the 'turmoil" around the team with transfers etc.
Davis has his work cut our for him for 2021-2022 season. Looking at the roster and i am in no way a basketball guy, but it looks like OM had I think 6 guys returning. Then you have 3 signees. Looks like Davis is going to be scouring some transfers or late JUCO guys the rest of the spring and summer just to fill out a full roster of non walk ons.
Of the 3 signees, Ruffin is the highest ranked guy, but at 5'8" 150 he might have to get in the weight room before he is a big contributor for OM.
Not sure why all the transfers, you would have thought Davis got that out of the way in year 1, but from really the outside looking it, looks like a mess
