reading and hearing that former Lafayette HS Safety and current Alabama S Brandon Turnage will finish out the spring at Alabama and transfer to OM to start the summer. From what I was told he always wanted to play at OM, but because of the state of the OM program at the time 2018-2019 that he couldnt risk his future by signing with OM so he went to Bama.
Now that the program is going in the right direction he wants to come home and OM will hold a transfer scholarship for him to do just that.
He was a soph this past season, so he will be a soph again in the fall.

Not sure how much he played at Alabama, but I am sure it would help with depth at the worse for OM

I can't really blame him for not wanting to sign with OM during the Luke years. Everyone with even a pulse knew from the start that Luke was in over his year, and it was even more apparent after that first season.

The Luke years will go down in history as some dismal years for Ole Miss football fans. Ironically, there were many people who supported him and thought he would be the next Johnny Vaught. Luke has proven that he is ineffective as a head coach and also lacks the ability even be a good position coach. Regardless of this situation, Luke is laughing all the way to the bank as he has made millions off his inept contract with Ole Miss.

This says redshirt in 2019, so since 2020 didnt count, he should be a RS Freshman again in 2021 which is great. Basically have a 20 year old with 4 years of eligibility left.
