What I’ll always believe about Ole Miss basketball
Ole miss should have moved on from Andy Kennedy before we did and hired Mike White - instead Florida beat Ole Miss to the punch and now makes hiring White very unlikely. Just my humble opinion.

I agree with you. We had a chance to get him but couldn’t pull the trigger. Kennedy was the equivalent of Cuttcliffe. Beat up on lesser opponents, avg to below avg in conference, mostly NIT/independence bowls.

Beating TN 52-50 was a good win for the Rebels. Davis probably knows he is coaching for his job and to stay off the hot seat. Regardless of the situation, Davis has still not proven that he is the head coach who is capable of improving Ole Miss basketball and keeping it at a competitive level. If Kennedy had been retained, the current status quo of Ole Miss basketball would have been no better or no worse. By the way, Kennedy has his UAB team in first place in Conference USA with a conference record of 7-1 and an overall record of 14-2.
