No Ole Miss people I know cared about whether Freeze violated NCAA rules or not (yeah, they all do it).  Where Freeze screwed up was with the daily religious tweeting, fooling around, strippers on speed dial, etc..  No morals and no credibility after that. He created his persona, and he destroyed it.  That was all on him, no one else.  I'm not judging the man, that's just the way it was..  He also got cocky as hell and that was a bad mistake - he pissed a lot of people off.   

Maybe he has learned some lessons and will be a good coach somewhere someday.  

 

Freeze never admitted to being the one with call girls.  For what anyone knows it was recruits he was calling the prostitutes for. The media msde the narrative that it was him.  And in all honesty, Freeze could have blamed it on recruits to get some of the cheating allegations against him diflected from him.  And OM would have had more ncaa issues as he walked out the door.

Thank God for forgiveness. We better not read Psalms if we have a problem with leader's having moral failures. David was the 'apple of God's eye', yet he not only fooled around but plotted against her husband which led to his death. He came back to be a pretty decent leader, including penning most of the Psalms. Hugh made things right with God, his wife, his family and is now building again the things that were destroyed. I wish him nothing but the best!
