SEC Plot?
Maybe the home office will allow the refs to help Ole Miss win a few games. If this happens, then Matt Luke might become the new coach. He could keep Lingo on his staff. This action would be like a self imposed penalty!!!

Well....listening to Bjork on TV saying what an OUTSTANDING job ML is doing he might be signaling his true intent or he might be painting himself into a corner....How do you not hire an interim who's doing an OUTSTANDING job?
If we win 2 more there will be a HUGE push to name ML as permanent HC.....bet on it.

Bjork is just offering moral support after the fallout in Auburn. Make no mistake any modicum of success will have the GOB's wolves howling to keep Luke in place and give him time but Bjork has made it known he's moving on.

Well....I hope you're right....but I'm not going to count out the GOBs just yet.... I lived through the Kinard fiasco so I put nothing past those who want to remain in control.....the country club mafia is alive and well....

I'm fairly and reasonably confident we won't ever get that kind of a deal and even if we did I don't think we would accept it. We are a lightning bolt for controversy and misunderstanding. The national and local media all hate us. The overwhelming majority of the country thinks we have slaves working in the belly of the stadium serving all of us cracker plantation owners our mint juleps.
I can't even imagine the fallout politically if we were to ever try to pull something like that off.
NCAA got what they wanted and that was Freeze out. While it appears they couldn't find anything worthy of a 5 year investigation the black cloud of uncertainty did way more damage than any actual sanctions upcoming will. Make no mistake about that. We got killed remotely in a well coordinated multi faceted national PR attack.

Not to worry.....next year we'll trot out our new mascot...."Charlie Tuna" to the overwhelming approval of the outsiders....who will summarily turn and find another thing we're guilty of.....and guess what....we'll cave on THAT too. Buy anything you can find with the name REBELS on it....it won't be around much longer. I did this with Colonel Rebel merchandise several years back and some thought I was paranoid....
I won't be wearing anything with a damn fish or fin on it.....
