    Basketball team getting drilled by LSU

    39-21 at the half - home game for Ole Miss

    I like Kermit Davis, I want him to be successful....but something is wrong, going back to last year. I don’t know if his style isn’t working in the SEC, if talent evaluations have been off, or a combination of things, but this year’s team could well be worse than last year’s.

    Davis may not be the answer for coaching at Ole Miss.  This is his third season at Ole Miss and his record is 41–34 (.547) overall and 17–22 (.436) in SEC.  If he has a bad season this year, it will show that he is not the coach fans anticipated.  After next year if Kermit is not successful, then Ole Miss needs to find another coach.  His tenure and Kennedy's last few years are proof that a shiny new facility will not make a school an instant success in basketball.

    AK was always capable of finding guys that could score and would upset better teams every now and then. Kermit is having problems finding guys that can score. We're horrible from beyond the arc.
