Lebby signs new two year deal

I don’t have the link but the Ole Miss Football twitter account is where I saw it . Glad Kiffin and Ole Miss was able to retain him.

Re: Lebby signs new two year deal

I told Catfish the other day, Lebby is too close to Kiffin and Finley to leave for a lateral move.

With the loss of his brother the other day and the recent loss of his father( June 2019), family and close friends mean a lot these days.

Re: Lebby signs new two year deal

Auburn would be a high pressure job with lots of interference from meddling alumni.  At Ole Miss he is close to friends and family.  In addition the pressure would not be so great as it would be at Auburn.  Lastly, there is no comparison to Oxford vs. Auburn for living.  The only advantage to Auburn is its location to Florida and Atlanta.  As far as Atlanta is concerned, who really wants to travel there anyway?

Re: Lebby signs new two year deal

If the Bama rumor were true, I could see Lebby going there since historically it appears that assistants go there in order to become future HCs.  Other than that, I think it is wise to stick with a stable program while healing.  Besides, he can't go wrong at OM.  After building OM to its former glory, his stock will rise even higher.
