oh and this is not so much breaking news, but Reese is going to be a monster in 2021. I posted a few times about him. HUGE player on the back end that will help set the tone.

That drive right there drives me crazy. I talked about the conservative playcalling at the end of the LsU and Auburn games that were a huge reason in getting beat
Now up 20-13 and 1st and 10 at the 30. Had been wide open to get down there. Then run it up the miy3 straight times and have to try a fg and miss it.
Terrible in my opinion. Keep attacking. Get the first down.
I don’t feel good right now.

And just like that. A crazy 18 yd reception and a long pass inteference and its 1st down at the 25

With the help of OM having 12 men on the field coming out of a timeout. On 4th down. Then a BS holding call when your had forced a 4th down. Now a 20-20. If not fot that pathetic conservative playcalling on that inside the 30 last possession, would be a 14 pt game.

Back to attacking. Guess what. TD quickly

Then choke the extra pt.
Where was the kicker at midnight?

Proud of the grit the OM players showed in getting this win.
Defense really stepped up
Offense should have scored 50
But big win and from a year ago. Good times headed back to OM football

Defense was huge today! I really think with the transfers and JUCO kids, our defense will be significantly better next season.

The Ole Miss defense looked good today and much improved. The DLs would have gotten much more pressure if it were not for the IU holding most of the game. I do not think many or any were called. It seem flagrant when you see a white stretched jersey with an OL lineman holding it. Some of the calls to give IU the chance to tie the game were suspect. There is no doubt that the conservative play calling could have been detrimental. I do not understand why they don't just keep their foot on the throttle to score more points. Anyway, the Rebel won and that what counts.
