Well....I hear the COI "Kangaroo Court" is scheduled for 9/11.... If one believes in omens you might find that date a bit uncomfortable....Oh...and did I say it's being held in an airport?

They aren't going to be interested in anything we say, I'm afraid.

Yup...like I said....classic Kangaroo Court....and they're going to only accept the fabricated evidence against us.... I wonder which of our wusses are going to be there to bend over and thank them for the ream job that's administered.

Hear of anything new with the Rebel Rags lawsuit and any depositions? I think that's the only way we save ourselves in the future somewhat - but that will end up being after all of the damage is done.

Haven't heard a word....but think about it.....How lame is it that we have to rely on a local business man to have any hope of fighting back.... The fact that he's the only one one the horizon that appears to have a 'set' tells me not to expect much benefit on the university level.... They'll screw that up too....

I think that is the University working through RR to do what needs to be done since in the NCAA case the NCAA has total control over what is said, what is introduced, no cross examination, only speak when you are asked to speak kind of kangaroo bullshit.
The civil case will be tried in a court of law and all parties will be subject to subpoena, testimony, etc in the proceedings.
Semper would have a much better answer for this than me but that is what I have gathered.
Without RR Ole Miss is getting nailed and the NCAA has made that abundantly clear in this OJ type of investigational period.
If nothing else while we get hammered we can throw as much dirt on all guilty parties as possible and keep pushing the corruption/collusion angles. May turn out to be an XFiles type episode but we can't afford to do nothing that's for sure....

Yeah....I understand the tactic....but by that time it won't matter we'll be screwed..... And we've already seen how the 'other parties' have their offenses overlooked..... So even if we produced a 'smoking gun' they would skate because that's the way bureaucrats work.... Just like we're seeing on the national stage....one party has enough evidence against them to sink a ship....the other party is being subjected to a fishing inquisition.... What it amounts to is 2 sets of rules.....and as long as you're on the side of the bureaucrats you have a stacked deck to use to your advantage...otherwise you are grease for their treads...

Probably in an airport because the NCAA is scared of being out in public. They ought to be. So which airport?

If I understand correctly we can appeal the decision when it comes down 8-10 weeks after the COI meeting. Most, if not all, of us expect the book to be thrown at us based on how things have played out so far.
Between the ruling and the appeal of that ruling there will be enough time for Merkel to turn up the heat on the parties involved in his civil suit case. That seems to be the prevailing thought anyways...

Well....I'll believe it when I see it.... But, based on watching these Bozos for decades it's more likely that we'll announce that we fought hard and won the right to sell 3 more hot dogs per game.....we'll declare victory and retire to the grove to wallow amongst the Oaks....and shout....WE ARE.......OLE MISS!
