Should Ohio State be eligible for the CFP?

OSU is a media darling and will get put in the CFP for the sake of being Ohio State.  They have only played 5 games, they are 5-0, but only one of their wins comes against a team with a winning record.  For OSU to get into the CFP with only 5 games played instead of other teams that played 9-10 games does not seem fair.   Here are the records of the teams that OSU played:

Nebraska 2-4
Penn State 2-5
Rutgers 2-5
Indiana 6-1
Michigan State  2-4

What are your thoughts?

No they shouldn't be in it but they will be.

Show me someone who doesn't care if they win or lose and I will show you a loser.

Re: Should Ohio State be eligible for the CFP?

No - not when they only played 5 games. Other conferences figured out how to play 10 games - the Big Ten should have too

Re: Should Ohio State be eligible for the CFP?

No, but it doesnt matter. Their conf commissioner is a fraud. Add that they had 21 day covid quaranteen, at the time 7 days more than the cdc recommended, tells you how arrogant they are up there.

If I am indiana and some of the other bottom feeders in that conference and get my butt kicked by ohio st each year, no way I vote to let them play for the conference title.

Big10 was first to say they weren’t going to have a season this year.  They were so arrogant they thought everyone else would cancel right behind them.  They shouldn’t be rewarded with having someone in their conference play.

Having said all that, I’m sure Ohio state will make it to the playoff.
