With Daniels, I woudnt believe anything he has said. Even after he signs, until he shows up on a campus. I have followed him very closely for over a year.  He has told Miss st, OM, A&M in the last week, what his class schedule at each school will be, etc...

On the thread I started about recruiting, I started with Daniels as 7-30 to A&M, then went 50-50 and then 60-40 to OM.  The to A&M's favor is what he had told A&M's coaching staff, then lied to them and they caught him several times, that is when I changed it to even then in OM's favor because what he had told OM's staff on Tuesday night. Well, he lied to them also.  So A&M's staff were pissed with him and basically told him to kick rocks, OM's staff relayed that to him earlier in the week also after they caught him lying. So he had the choice to stick with state, who he lied to many many times also, but they are not quite in the position to tell him to kick rocks.

Now, we all know kids play the recruiting game, but when you flat out lie to a staff, completely different, especially at this stage of the game in recruiting.   Jimbo damn sure wont deal with that, hasnt at A&M. Lane the same way, players coach, yes.  Sometimes to a fault.  But they both do draw a line. And a big part of that is trust and if you lie this much before you are even their player..

Now, can anything change and have we seen crazier things in recruiting, yep.   But i do not see the door open at A&M or OM any more.

Remember Joe Jon was on staff at A&M with these coaches last year, these guys all talk.  Even state had guys that are friends on both staffs, so if you flat out lie to all 3, it will get back.

What do you think about the MJ Daniels flip?  He's a good player, but does he have character flaws?
