I see OM is ranked about 52 right now in recruiting, that is with Iton and Gordon unranked. When the JUCO rankings come out, both will be 4 star guys. I think OM would be about 30-35 if they were ranked right now. This class looks to be headed to about a 20 final ranking IMO
Well, You forget, since they are committed to Ole Miss they automatically lose a star.
A&M fans have felt that way for years, when texas would get a recruit they automatically would get a rankings bump. It has proven to be true that the bigger "names" over the past 20 yeas with these recruiting networks would get their recruits ranked higher. they have bigger subscribers and the publishers wanted to make them happy. Bobby Burton and Shannon Terry basically admitted it from their days at Rivals, to when they started 247 to buying Scout.com.
Look at texas recruiting class rankings over the past 8-10 years. Then look at their results on the field. Now did Mack Brown under perform in his last few years at texas, was Charlie Strong a terrible pick as HC, has herman been a major disappointment? Yea, but going 77-61 the last 11 years with a average recruiting ranking of 10th ( really the average ranking should be about 6, in 2013 they had a ranking of 17 but only signed 15 players and it was Strongs first class in the coaching change , in ranked 25 in 2017 because they only signed 18 guys and it was the change from Strong to Herman year).
Also look at the list of losses to schools they in no way they should lose too.

I did say OM was getting Altmeyer before he committed on the Renfro thread. Not that that was out on a limb
Iton today
I will do some more digging on Daniels, was told today from the A&M side is more 50-50 with OM. If he picks MSU, he is sandbagging both staffs at OM and A&M
After doing a lil investigating on Daniels today, I feel it is about 60-40 he will be a Rebel

It is good to see Texas spiral out of control!!! They are so smug and were part of a group to try to undermine the SEC. Fortunately, the SEC had a better plan and took TAMU as a team. This stopped the whole Texas, B10, P12 move in its tracks. I am glad to have TAMU in the SEC. Texas had not intention of joining the SEC because they nknew the competition would be too tough and they would not be in control.
