3-1 over the next 4 is possible — but our defense, even though it’s showing improvement, gives me pause. And if we have another turnover fest like we did vs Arkansas any game can be lost - but that’s true for just about any team.

Next week’s game vs South Carolina is a pivotal one - they looked bad tonight, and aren’t a great team so gotta win that one for sure to keep hopes for 5-5 alive.

With our defense, we may end up 3-2.  But hopefully our recruiting will make up for this in the next year or two.

seems like our D is trying to get better, just not there yet.   big plays and 3rd down continue to be the issue.  we play decent on 1-3 down and the longer the 3rd down, the more impressive the conversion.  is sick to watch but no immune to it.   

The D does seem to be tightening up a bit, just need more talent and speed on the DL.    Normally you need at least one position that is solid and everything else is a building block.  our LBs seem to be ok but I just don't see first string SEC talent.  Some of the younger guys will progress and end up being a solid player, but we need more talent

on offense, just keep working.  consistency will always be the issue week to week on any team.  You take out the ark game which was still winnable despite the corral implosion.  The fact he has come back and played well the next 2 games shows he is coachable. I think Matt was reading to many news clippings that he forgot he is not superman.. 

  All i do know is, this looks like a football team that is moving in the right direction.  the last 5 years we look like we were held together with gum and bailing wire which is sickening when you look back at the level of talent we had.

We might not even play TAMU on the scheduled date due to the number of players they now have in quarantine with COVID.
