According to what I've read, the SEC was supposed to make a decision yesterday, but I haven't been able to find anything on it. Anyone hear if he'll be eligible? Our defense sure could use him.

If it will help Ole Miss, then the SEC will deny his immediate eligibility. It could be time for Otis to call the Walmart lawyer!!!

It's a conference wide rule. I know 3 teams are asking for this especially Stoops and Kiffin. The Presidents of the SEC institutions were voting on this yesterday. I'm assuming that since we haven't heard anything, the rule stayed in place but that is just an assumption.

Didn’t the 5 star OL that transferred from Georgia to Tenn already get cleared like two weeks ago? All the details may not be the same but it’s still an inter-conference transfer.

The SEC Rule States:
Grant immediate eligibility to any player who transfers to Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Florida, or Tennessee. All other institutions must wait one or more years for eligibility to be granted. 🙃

The vote is delayed due to some schools not sending in their votes.
As for the UT OL player:
Tennessee offensive lineman Cade Mays, formerly of Georgia, and Kentucky quarterback Joey Gatewood, formerly of Auburn, are also in limbo.

Don't be surprised if Reese is not given eligibility this year. From his Tweet, he is playing the race card and police harassments while at Georgia in order to get immediate eligibility.
