What’s the story with Plumlee?

It seems that Corral has taken the majority of the snaps. From reading scrimmage reports, he appears to have improved a great deal. JRP seems to still struggle passing, and appears he's gonna be backup (or special packages).

He still sucks at throwing the ball and that will never get better. We really need to find a better place on the field for him. Heck, train him as a holder and run some cool fakes. That would fit best with his talent.

Kiffin and his experienced staff are being paid big bucks to work all this out. I believe they'll find a way to maximize Plumlee's value to to the team.

I hear you but it's amazing how many coaches are paid the big bucks and fail to figure this out.

Re: Who Starts at QB

I’m afraid he’s going to be out of the same mold that Michael Spurlock unfortunately trapped himself in. An amazing athlete but stuck on playing a role here my white but not being put in the place that will best help the team and his career. Michael Spurlock was probably one of the most frustrating people I’ve ever watched in college, but his athletic ability made him a play maker on the field and ended upOn an NFL roster for seven years I think. Just a testament to how much of an athlete he was in JRP Seems to be even more so of an athlete. Said he had the opposite problem Michael head. Michael threw a football through a brick wall, JRP can’t throw a 10 yard out without it looking like a free throw

Either way I always thought corral was the better overall quarterback but last year with all the issues we had JRP did make so many plays that made him unavoidable to put on the field. That was the issue basically. You know he was going to run the ball and every other person on the field nude as well. You get him an open field and it’s over with. But there’s enough Sec speed To make him inconsistent, and being that we only have SEC games we need to build a team around an actual quarterback and that’s why I think Matt is going to be the guy. I’m excited about the season just because I’m ready to watch Lane Kiffin  and what he has to offer
