There's a few groups holding a joint freedom rally in Jackson to protest the governor's unconstitutional mandates. Let me know if you are interested and would like more information.

What did the governor do?

Here is the key to covid at this point
Wear a mask, but it is mostly aids in cutting down on the sick spreading it to others, not as affective at protecting the healthy. However it is a personal choice and you should be free to not wear a mask. Time to give freedom of choice back to people to actual exercise judgement
Which leads to the bigger issue, if you are sick, stay the hell home. That is hard when you work for a living and your company kinda demands you come in. Companies had better be more accommodating for sick days or work from home.
Let the young healthy people free and let the more vulnerable work remotely. If you are under 30, you are close to a statistical zero in terms of death rate compared to the over 40 population.
What will be interesting to see is if the virus is getting weaker through the ongoing spread or is it just weaker due to summer and will get stronger when winter comes. That is the wild card. But many places that had the deeper impacts in spread are seeing a deeper decline in new cases vs the areas that locked down even with lower numbers of spread.
This virus is here and will be here for another year or so. I hope I don’t get it, but tired of living in fear of getting it. It’s all in God’s hands at this point. I will not do stupid things to make myself or others at risk, but the mental, physical and financial health of the average person is now more at risk than the chance of dying from covid.

You said it’s all in God’s hands at this point. No argument there, but the will of God is that people do not put themselves before others. In other words, exercise your right TO wear a mask to protect other people. Let me tell you a story: There was a devout person who believed that everything is in God’s hands. Unfortunately, he was caught on the roof of his house as hurricane Sally was coming in to the Alabama coast. As the storm surge grew, he prayed to God, “ I know everything is in Your hands. If it is your will, save me from this storm.” The waters were reaching his feet when a boat came by. The operator said, “hop in and I’ll save you.” The man on the roof said, “no thanks, everything is in God’s hands. I will be safe.” A while later, as the water lapped at the man’s knees, a larger boat pulled along side the roof. “Get in”, came the call, “I will get you to safe ground.” Once again, the man replied, “no thanks, everything is in God’s hands. I will be safe.” It wasn’t long before the water had risen to the man’s chin. He heard a faint noise that grew louder until a helicopter was directly above. A crew member leaned out and shouted, “we’re dropping a line to you. Grab on, and we will get you off the roof.” Once again, the man replied, “I’m good. Everything is in God’s hands.” The man drowned. Being a pious person, he instantly stood before the Pearly Gates. Expecting St. Peter to greet him, he was shocked to see God himself striding up to open the gates. “What happened?” said the man, a little put off at being there before his time. “I know everything is in Your hands. Why did you let me drown?” God stared at him and answered, “What did you want? I sent you two boats and a helicopter!” God works miracles, but he also works His will through people. It is not that difficult to wear a mask, especially if the only reason one is choosing not to is because it would violate his rights.
