If you buy the media reports, the recent spike in covid smells bad for any football. Delaying practice cutting the sched would all be disastrous. imho

No it doesn't. Higher cases with lower deaths and lower hospitalization is VERY VERY GOOD NEWS. Stop listening to the fear porn. COVID-19 is over. It's not even as deadly as the seasonal flu at this point and there is a 99% effective cure in the Zelenko protocol.

Well, it smell bad enough to cut the schedule so some asshole buys it. They're already cold calling trying to sell tickers. The cut schedule cuts revenue=disaster ,in my book.

The cut schedule will mean revenue losses for this season, but a good director would have cash reserves in order to handle financial emergencies. Instead these schools overpay their employees and frivolously spend money. Now they are facing a financial emergency and are panicking because they feel they cannot make their budgets.
